
Western Broadband’s history mirrors our core philosophy – constant evolution is required to keep up with the ever-increasing demands of the modern world. In 1996, CEO Tushar Patel started Electronic Corporate Pages, Inc as a dial-up Internet Service Provider in Austin, Texas. In the early 2000s, as dial-up speeds could not keep up with the increasing bandwidth needs of more and more web-based services, our transition to fixed wireless began, and Western Broadband was born. Starting with just a handful of towers, Tushar rolled up his sleeves and got to work, fulfilling every role as-needed – taking technical support calls, and doing many of the early wireless installations himself. Many of those first wireless customers are still customers today!
As the company has continued to grow, Tushar’s drive and dedication have been infectious. We are, at heart, a bunch of nerds with a passion for making things work and helping people, and it shows.

Office Staff

Our Billing and Admin Team are central Texas locals who work out of our Georgetown office, handling billing, administration, and staff. They are available by phone 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays.
Our daytime Technical Support and Sales Team are all central Texas locals who work out of our Georgetown office, and get you set up for service, help you with any advanced tech support needs you may have, schedule installations and service calls, and even help you with billing and payments. They are available by phone 8am to 10pm Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm on Saturday, and 12pm to 5pm on Sunday, excluding holidays.
Our After Hours Tech Support Team is a third party group of agents based out of Utah, there to help if you have problems overnight. Supporting ISPs around the country since 1999, they allow us to ensure you have technical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and are available anytime the daytime team is not. They will escalate any advanced issues to the local Texas daytime team, who will then take over and get to the bottom of your issue.
Our Network Administration Team are all central Texas locals who work out of our Georgetown office, and handle network design, administration, expansion, and repair, working closely with the Field Operations Team on a daily basis to keep our network up and running reliably.
Field Staff
Our Installation Tech Team are all central Texas locals, based out of our Georgetown office, handling all customer installations, repairs, service calls, and equipment pickups. All installation techs have passed a background check for your peace of mind, and are the friendly face of Western Broadband during your in-person appointment. Appointment windows are available weekdays with arrival windows between 8am to noon, and 11am to 3pm, depending on the season.
Our Field Operations Team are all central Texas locals, working out of our Austin office, and perform all network installations, expansions, maintenance, and repairs, working closely with our Network Administration team on a daily basis. They climb and construct towers, install fiber and antennas, and perform all necessary repairs to the network.
